Just a quick question. Who pays for ATA trophies at a state shoot, the ATA or the state association? The program says $XXXX in ATA trophies but it's not clear if there "donated" or bought. Thanks!

The ATA pays for the trophies they supply, which are the championship events
and your state association picks up the rest.

For State Shoots and Zone Shoots, the ATA provides trophies for the Class Day Events, Championship events and the HAA. See Page 36-38 of the online ATA Rule Book which details what they give to each State/Zone

Yes You and I and all the shooters pay for them. What hurts is to see them for sale later. If you have 1 of those nice leather bags and dont want a new dont shoot for them. I hate seeing them up for sale, and they dont mean the same if you dont win them. If I want to buy 1 it will have what I want on it not HAA or HOA that I didnt win.

My honest opinion. They should have added class for cash or trophy.
