I'm looking for someone who knows what a 1985 grade 6 browning citori
monte carlo stock gun is worth. the gun has been in a safe unfired for 15 years.
Gun is easily 98% , still hard to open and close. any good info would be helpful.
    Thanks Dean

    $2500-2800? Should be pretty close.

And you better lube that gun. Likely the oil has evaporated and your are galling the gun.

Dean, 1985 was first year of the invector chokes and your gun should have them instead of the fixed chokes (subtract $250). 27th blue book has your gun at 98% at $1,525, and subtract $150 if without invector plus chokes or ported barrels.100% is at $1,925 - $150. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff

What jeff said....the pre Invector plus guns dont bring as much as newer back-bored guns...and fixed choke bring even a little bit less...unless you get a person who is a fixed choke fan..and there are many : ) bet its pretty

I have a friend that just bought a similar Browning for $2250 from Jaquas. It has the nitrite reciever with the gold birds heavily engraved(lazer etched, grade 6). It has knock out wood, invector chokes, monty carlo stock (trap) with 30" barrels. One of the best looking shotguns I have ever seen.
