A buddy of mine has an older Winchester (1300?) pump gun and would like an inexpensive rib installed on the gun. I understand there are some folks who can install one (non-metallic) that are not to badly priced. Any suggestions??
    Thanks,
    Neil

Poly-choke had one, you stuck it on with a very nice epoxy. Got one on an 1100 for about 10 years now, no probs.

You'll be able to buy another barrel for the 1300(1200 barrels wll fit the gun also) a lot cheaper that having a rib installed.

    Simmons does still install ribs.

I was quoted $375 for a rib install and complete reblue on an older M12.

Do a search in yahoo or google for Simmons Guns and their website will come up.
