Well, I haven't had any luck identifying the release triggers in my K80, so lets try this from a different angle.

Name everyone you can think of who installs or installed release triggers in K80s. Gun is 1999, so it would likely have been someone active since then.

Then I will contact as many of them via email with photos of the hooks, and hopefully someone can identify them as theirs, or they know who's they are.

    I'll start:

    -Krieghoff

    -Allems

    -Marlette

    -Phillips

    -Alamo Sporting

    -Pats Gun Repair

    -Bowen/Hubbard

I believe all of the ones mentioned except for Allems install Krieghoff factory parts. Allems has their own version. Send it to Allems and they will tell you or to Krieghoff and they'll tell you as well. Allems roller design seems to be the favorite design now over the Krieghoff factory parts. In any case, if the release wasn't done with Allem or Krieghoff parts I'm not sure I would stay with it for down the road service reasons.

How about pictures? One of the smiths on here might recognize them. Jeff

Here is a picture of the release parts that came out of my K80. They were factory parts. I had The pull triggers put back in at Ottsville.

Sal- What was the cost to convert back to pull?

The Krieghoff schematic actually shows 2 different designs of factory hooks, one that looks like Sal's, one that looks like mine.

I think it was around $125 but I had the pull trigger parts. the only thing I had to buy was the top latch lever pin (don't remember what it is called exactly) but they said they have to shorten those for release triggers. That is the long bar at the bottom of the picture
