WHO HAS THE LOWEST MODEL 12 SERIAL #?

    It's about time we have a fun thread on this site. Who has the lowest model 12 serial # on this site? if you have a camera, show us a picture of the serial #, if not, just tell us, shooters don't lie. wouldn't it be something if someone has a serial # under 100?

    so far this is great, i never would of thought some of you had model 12's with such low #'s. please keep it going. if you know some with extremely low #'s let us know. don't mention his name though.

    I have a 20 gauge model 12 with serial number 1394X. I also have a Y model serial number Y2007000 with modified choke.

    I have a 20 #2420x but i have no where #17 is. Hanging in a glass case in a gunshop in Bedford Indiana.

    #196100 - - belonged to an old friend who had been a steam locomotive engineer. I had to get it out of it's case, maybe for the first time in 50 years.

    He had a gun mounting move that was the same as that he had used when throwing a shovel of coal in the firebox.

    It seems like all the low numbers are 20 gauge. Is there a reason for that?

    The low ser #'s on a 20ga only is because for the the first 2 years. 20 ga was the only thing they made.

    i would love to have a model 12 with such low seriaL #'S. I bet most of them are still in good shape and are good shooters.
