Who can plug the rem trigger safety hole such as what's been done here?

In the past, I've just removed the safety and left an open hole, but I believe it would look better plugged...

Safety on equals FTF(Failure to Fire). Then you take it off and call for a target again.

    Oh!!

Why not just take it off safety before starting your round? Maybe you need a big fluorescent sticker to remind you "Take It Off Safety". Kind of like a Release sticker. LOL

I guess when a single target equates to thousands of dollars on the line, having a safety accidentally on is a concern...

Your right. I was just mess'n with ya. I don't know squat about skeet. Your a big boy, take the darn thing off and plug it with a precisely milled piece of aluminum or brass.

I don't know about the 1100 but you can put 1/4" plated hole plugs in the
holes left when you remove the safety on a 391. They look nice and stay put. About 50 cents at Home Depot. Ace Hardware has them, too.

I guess folks can't read. 8 posts and not one guy answers his question. Who can do it? All went in another direction. What a joke. Any guy with a lathe can most likely mic the hole and make you a brass plug to insert. Good luck

Thank goodness for Bernie K and his all important info. How exactly did you help him?? I think others suggested as much useful info as you. You don't think he could surmise that a guy with a lathe could do it??? What a joke.

Thousands of dollars on the line in skeet? No wonder someone is pushing your safety on in the gun rack. Leave the hole it looks great. Jr

Dont know what part of the country you are located, but in Texas just lay it outside for a few minutes and a drt dauber will fill it with mud tryin to make a nest in the hole.

hippie--Made me spit my drink. LOL That is so true and i'm not in Texas. Here in Southern IL, if you leave anything unattended for a day or so it will have a home in it.
