Are the White Flyer targets made from a different recipe than we are use to shooting? Lately, I've noticed that the W.F. targets do not make the black ball of smoke when center hit. Actually there seems to be white smoke as the BIO target make. I have check the boxes the target came in and they definitely are not BIO degradable targets. Anyone else notice the difference in the targets? A lot of white smoke. Tom

No, but the Federal Champion targets are so hard that people in Wisconsin are refusing to shoot them.

White flyer was having trouble getting quality pitch last summer.
The targets did not smoke black it was more of a gray.

Maybe you shot some of those.

Everything is back to normal now with lots of black smoke.

Shawn, Thanks for the info about the targets. I knew they were different from the target breaks. I think scores were down from that particular target. Hope White Flyers gets back to their original target recipe. Lots of black smoke. I know BIO targets when I shoot them and the targets I have shot lately are NOT BIO's. Tom

TjayE - Take a moment when convenient and please email me the Box Code # on the side of the target box. Since you are saying these targets smoke a "whitish color, I 'd like to get the Lot #'s on the boxes to check this out. Current White Flyer Targets smoke "blackish" in color. These could be older targets that your club had left over from last year. Nevertheless, get me the #'s on the boxes and I'll reply back to you ASAP. Have you experienced a higher level of target breakage with these targets ?? Where is your facility located and whom to you receive White Flyer Targets from (the distributor) ??

THanks for checking this out for me -
