    Hello Gentlemen,

I remember reading about the fire at the pitch supplier over there which affected the white flyer target manufacturer.

We are short here in AUS now too. I was wondering is everything back to normal yet over there or is there still a shortage?

I'm sick of shooting these crap Sagittario 2000!

Target availability and price is still a major problem.
So far it seems that WF still has QC issues.

I got my targets a month before the ILL. state shoot, they can make them alright but if you have them truck it for you they was about3 or 4 weeks behind,Prices went up $2.50 a case when I got mine Another gun club just got some a month ago and they went up another dollar, shipping tax $13.50 a case might be higher now when you order them you are on a 30 day wait to get them, then if they deliever probaly 2 to 3 weeks .

I suspect you are talking about Bio Targets not Pitch?

The new pitch targets give you a white cloud instead of black, almost like a Bio. Some have been very hard to break. HMB

Some of the "new" WF targets we got were "thick" on one side and had erratic flight patterns. When we went out and picked up some of the whole ones and placed them on a flat surface we noticed they weren't touching all the way around. The targets were warped. We notified WF and they promptly sent us replacement pallets.

We are shooting NY style WF's and they are Lawry hard for some unknown reason. LF or Full to shoot singles is ridiculous..

The price of targets going up and quality going down. This does not look good for trapshooting. I shot these targets at the Nebraska State Shoot. Never seen anything like it. Pitch target little to no smoke and what there was was more white in color.2 reps stood there and said we are sorry for 20 minutes. That was fine but I just wasted hundreds of dollars of ammo and entry fees to shoot targets and wont break and see aveages go down the drain. Not sure but something wrong with that.

Barry, I think targets for this years Grand will be alright, next year's Grand may be the interesting one? Especially if target manufacturers get completely away from using pitch targets we're used to seeing smoke in a black ball!! If so, scores will head south!!

I recall the Rem Rocks at the 100th Grand. One I hit and knocked completely out of the flight path about 4 feet and not a chip anywhere!! Hit the ground, bounced around and still didn't break up!!

Hap, those Remington targets were plum soft compared to the targets White Flyer sent to Nebraska this year.

The White Flyer targets we shot at the Lincoln, Ikes were the early White flyer targets. We had a bit more breakage but scores were great ! Dick had the kids handle the targets like they were fine china. Sounds like the GLG is having the same issues as Ne...Damn hard to break and irregular flight. Ed
