Which way to move the comb

    To move the pattern to the right, I move the comb to the right, Right?

    you move the comb in the direction you want to move the shot up= up down=down left=left and so on. Bob s

    That is right and Cowboy is right when he says "right" that you move the comb to the right to move the POI to the right.

    Except it's not right to move the comb to the right if you want to move the pattern to the left. If you want to move the pattern to the left, the right thing to do is to move the comb to the left. Right?

    And don't get me started on how to move the pattern down. It's a real downer if you move the comb up when you want to move the pattern down. In fact, there is no upside to it.

    Got it right now? Don't get left behind.

    And if the above is confusing, just rotate your over-and-under 90 degrees, and then you'll have a side-by-side, which is much easier to adjust.

    On those (rare) occasions when I actually keep my cheek firmly on the stock like I'm supposed to, I find I shoot more to the right WITHOUT changing the comb.

    Your eye is the rear sight on a shotgun..........So remember the acronym........."FORS" when moving your sights ......FRONT sight OPPOSITE--REAR sight the SAME.
