Which Trigger for which barrel

    If you really need proof, put a shell in each chamber (at the range, appropriately, and safely) and fire the gun once using the forward trigger then open the gun and see which shell fired.

    the forward trigger usually fires the right barrel in a side by side for those interested

    Look the barrels over, they should be marked - typically, the lower barrel would be the most open (modified in your example) and the top would be the full choke... As I said, "typical"!....breakemall....BobDodd

    scary thought that question was even asked...sorta like which eye do you look down the guns barrel with to see if its loaded

    The answers to this question actually depend on the type of gun. I once had a Browing O/U (Belgium)that had double selective triggers. You could set the front trigger to fire either barrel. That style did not become popular, at least in this country.
