Which station do you like to start on? Why? I've noticed through the years many people insist on starting on a specific station or being the squad leader. What is your choice and reasoning?

I prefer 1, 3 or 4. No real reason other than I prefer to shoot right hand and left hand targets together.

I like 2 .... but have no problem starting at any post when 2 is not available. When it is a squad of "new shooters" .... I take post 1 to make sure things go smoothly and SAFELY!

I don't care. I have started on all of them. In the morning though, I start with Willie's RoadHouse, Channel 56, Sirius XM.

#3 is my preferred post but I got forced into #2 on Sunday-which I traditionally hate. Shooting behind the wife did put on the pressure a bit. Since we both broke 99's it wasn't so bad afterall!!

I started on 5 this past weekend and I think it caused me to pay more attention than usual. I also think when I start on three that I don't tend to pay as much. I think this is due to my fooling myself into thinking that 3 is an easier post. Someone told me that the most missed bird in trap is the straightaway from 3. I do not doubt it.

I like starting at post #5 just seems that if I break the five from that post the rest seem easier.

post 4. 5 shots to warm up and calm down before the angles. Then slide down the home stretch.

If you like 2, you better like 1. Sometimes 1 don't show up!

I like 1 through 3. Nice thing about 1 is move on down the line all one way.

I always start on post 5 when available.
Curiously I have shot some of my better scores when on another post.
Could be I am out of my comfort zone and focusing more.

Post 4. Break them all before going to 5 and 1, which at times seem to be my worst posts. Run the first 15 and almost always a 25. Almost. Except for the straight away that is not straight on post 3.

There is only "1". Lol Mostly shot it for 40 yes now. That's how RedDot1 and I could shoot together without conflict.
