Been out of trapshooting for a couple of years, miss the shooting and the guys so......was shooting a Kolar and a KX 5, sold them. Don't want to put that much back in a trapgun so I'm looking at M 12, 870s, I shoot 1 oz loads, will the recoil from a M12/870 be manageable? Thanks WC

If recoil sensitive, why not go for a semi like an 1100, 11-87 or a 300 series Beretta? John

With the increase in the number of soft material recoil pads, such as Limbsaver, KickEez, the right recoil pad can help a great deal. Also on the increase is the number of affordable recoil reducer mechanisms starting out around 400.00 or less installed. With right 1oz load you should be able to manage an 870 or M12 easily, but you might to go further and consider a 7/8oz load for 16's. I shoot them for league and club shoots for 16's and both doubles birds and do quite well with them.
