Throughout this whole legislative process to pass HCR - did anybody see a single Insurance Industry ad on TV, opposing it?

During Hillary Clinton's effort in 1993, the Tee Vee was thick with them. I didn't see one, this time.

It would appear "Harry & Louise" went AWOL this time around. Anybody wonder why?

One guess might be that it is better for health insurance companies or there will be ample opportunities for insurance companies to milk the government. If the health care reform that was recently passed was going to get into the insuruance companies'pockets, I think they would have been screaming and throwing a tantrum.

With no threat of nationalized healthcare and loss of private insurance, what did profit/non-profit insurance purveyors have to fear... insurance companies and associations will still be the only players, aside from expanded Medicaid.

Wait until the "real" change starts taking place...

    regards all,
