In China, by a Chinese artist with Chinese materials. Go figure!

Check out the 6th paragraph in this website.

    Apparently you do Don.

The title of the thread is very clear on its contents and we all know you wouldn't open a thread that you weren't interested in.

Well, you can just bet your ass that it WAS NOT made in the hatred infested racist heart of Maxine Waters.

It's hard to beat Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee for shameless race baiting but check out up and commer Rep. Frederica Wilson. I'm sure the voters of Florida's 17th Congressional distict are proud of her!

I can't say much for her Marxist politics but check out the snappy hats!

I think it's pathetic to have to memorialize MLK surely there is someone more deserving?

Mr.SBE, I believe the "black"s" struggle for equality in America should be remembered. Perhaps there is a more deserving figurehead than MLK, But I don't know who that would be. Kenny Bruggeman

I agree with legman but I still have a couple of issues.

White, Corporate America donated virtually all the money and you can see in my second website ' guess who donated to KLK memorial" they had very little help from the ones who promoted it the most.

Second issue is the location of the memorial. DC is fine but in the National Mall, a place where we honor past Presidents and military sacrifice?

    Am I missing something here?

I heard on a radio news report this morning that since the King family had Dr. King's "I have a dream" speech copyrighted, the U.S. Government - that's us - had to pay them $800,000 to put "I have a dream..." on the statue honoring him.

This isn't meant to be racist, but that's just nuts.
