Where do you get your lead from to make shot? I've been going to tire shops and junk yards but I haven't gotten much lead, just 2 or 3 buckets. Where else can I get lead?

I found that the old timers have the lead secured....aka they are old time customers of the tire shops and they get the lead to make sinkers out of.

How about smashing old batteries and add some antimony.

Parking lots at big sporting events. I can easily get a 5 Gal bucket full in a couple hours. Big shopping malls are also a prime spot.

Make friends with a few workers at tire shops. They want to get rid of the lead. Once you get a relationship established, it is important to pick up the lead when the shop wants it gone, not when it is convenient for you to pick it up. Make sure you have a good supply of empty 5 gallon buckets.
