We're looking for reasonable, clean lodging relatively close to Spokane Gun Club. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Maribeaux Park is in the Valley near the club - I think.

I am there often for Gonzaga University, but I normally stay downtown on the river at the Marriott.

I have stayed at the Maribeaux Park. Nice place, right of I-90.

Perhaps, some of the Spokane guys will chime in.

I usually miss shooting there due to time schedule, but I understand it's a nice place and nice folks.

Marriott Residence Inn, next to the Valley Mall. I used Priceline and got a $149 room for $70. The Lilac Festival is in Spokane that weekend and the town will be busy.

Thanks gent's for the suggestions - it's a big help and a good start.

Big Heap, I've never used Priceline - did you bid for those or get it the other way?

I've used Priceline for years on hotels and car rental. Just follow the directions and read the fine print. Low ball your first bid and just keep raising it until they take it. For the Spokane Gun Club you want a Spokane Valley hotel if you want to be close to the GC. Good luck.

I stayed at the "Best Western Pheasant Hill" for the WA state shoot last year & it was a nice place reasonably close to the Trap Club. I see WA is holding the state shoot at Spokane again this year, I'll prob'ly make reservations there again.

    Try this:

    http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do

Do a search for Liberty Lake, WA. Rates are reasonable with a fair cont. breakfast every morning. This motel is about 2 miles from the club. Good luck.

Click on the link above for search.

    Cris Morris,

Is that the same place that was called the "Best Western Pheasant Hill" last year? I followed your link and the "Best Western Peppertree Liberty Lake Inn" looks like the place I stayed last year?

For those of you looking for a place to stay while in Spokane, we do have the major motels and Hotels just go to their websites. We also have great places to eat and relax all close to the club with the Spokane Valley Mall just one mile away and Coeur d' Alene just up the road (I-90). We invite each and everyone of you to come to our 2008 Inland Empire Shoots in May as well as the Washington State shoots in June with other shoots listed on our website. You are always welcome and yes we have RV parking and camping spots. PLease go to our website at www.spokanegunclub.org and looks us up. Looking forward to seeing you at one of our shoots,(we aim to please).

This is not the Pheasant Hill Best Western. The Liberty Lake BW is a lot closer than that. A little less per night also. Not quite as fancy as Pheasant Hill, but closer. Good luck.

Thank you Chris, I'll prob'ly try the Liberty Lake this year then. Couple more questions? Wonder if they have a reduced rate for the WA state shoot?

also, do you know if Phillip Crenwelge (gunsmith) is still planning to be at the Washington State Shoot?

    John,

Not sure about reduced rates, but it is worth asking. Phillip will be at the WA State shoot. Good luck.
