Looking for help on where to stay for the Great Lakes Grand. I have never been there. Something close by would be great. Cheap but good. No bed bugs or other similar type hitchhikers. Thanks for your help...

Try Okemos area. Holiday Inn and another right by it.

    Always works for me.

Any place high and dry. It always rains hard at that shoot.

For a 2 star mom & pop motel try Hebb's right in Mason.
    1-517-676-4560.
It has an Ice Cream Shop attached. :>)

Baymont in Jackson is nice. Do not stay at the Motel 6. If you like ice cream, you have to visit the Parlour in Jackson, your blood sugars will be so high the next day you will probably miss the first target out, but its worth it.

We used to always stay at the Red Roof, Lansing, close to club, and at that time (about 4 years ago) clean and quiet.

For Hotel try the Lansing regional Chamber of Commerce @ 517-487-6340 or Jackson @ 517-782-8221
