I am interested in purchasing a used trap gun. I cant seem to find a place on trapshooters that caters just to that. Maybe I am doing something wrong. But is there possibly any sites out there who just deals with trap shotguns. I have been to gunbroker, but those adds sem to be mostly new.If you care to email me at golfer2b2000@yahoo.com, I would appreciate it.
    Thanks, Gene

Lots of fine dealers and individuals on this site sell guns. I prefer to buy a used gun from someone at my local club. That way, I get to shoot the gun several rounds prior to purchasing it. A word or two at a local club will usually result is several guns for sale that just appear.

I don't know where you are but I would go to the large shoots and or state shoots. There will be alot of people selling guns there and you can look at them all you want. New and used. Get the feel of the gun, ask questions and so on. Some will let you shoot them and see how they do for you. You can then check the prices of the maker and model you pick. Once you decide what maker and model to buy then you can start to talk price with the sellers. That would be the best way to buy a trap gun so you don't get something that doesn't fit and or like.

My price point is probably no more than 3000. I sold a browning citori trap some years ago, and it did me very well. It had the beavertail forearm. I have looked at the browning XT Traps also, and they can be had for around 2000 or less. What I really want to find is a 2 barrel combo. I want 32"barrels. Would prefer a stock adjustment because of my high cheekpoint on my face. Probably cant find something like this for less than 3000 though. I am not interested in nothing but an over-under though. They are just much easier to operate on a trap field. Thank you all for your help- It is well appreciated
