The way things are nowadays the best way is to stand there while it's being taken up with a pail and some money in your hand.

How many people have tried it or use it on a regular basis? Whats the going price ? How much cheaper is it? Anybody try patterning it and compare the performance?

I have shot it at everything from clay targets to dove, phesants and quail. It works just fine. If I could find some I would buy all I could get, and load it up. I have never seen it refuse to come out the end oy my shotgun.

check any local gun club...I'd say most are having it mined out now. Prices at my club in Washington are like $21 for non-members, $19 for members.

I was wondering do the people that reclaim the shot do any thing to it? Is it washed and tumbled then coated with grafite? If not wouldn't there be a safety issue with lead dust? Does it come in 25# bags?

Shoot! I just go out into the scrub out back of the club's trap field and load up a tin bucket with the stuff, take it home and tumble it with some sand in a old concrete mixer, wash it, sieve out the sand and I have shot.

Earlier this year, I bought 3 tons, cleaned, tumbled, and bagged. The fellow that I was getting it from is no longer in business due to health issues. I paid 12 dollars a bag and have been using it ever since. It works just fine for 16s and doubles, not so great for handicap.

Shot it off and on several years ago and it shot just fine. It's not that great using it for handycap as stated above. Rich.(inPeoria,A.Z.)
