The map on shootata has it pin pointed.

Switch the view to satellite or hybrid and you can see the fields.

The satellite image is old. There are four newer (as of about five years ago) fields that run toward the east and face north.

Sorry, Tim, that's the same satellite photo. There are 13 traps at Vernal now (12 program and 1 practice). The bottom most one in that photo is now Trap 5. There are four more to the right of it.

Click aerial from the drop down next to birds eye.

The bird's eye view is old and the aerial view is the current photo.

I recently sold a shotgun to Sean Hawley. He mentioned that he runs the Vernal Gun Club. Never been there but Sean was a great person to deal with!

They host some fantastic shoots! Sean and Stacy and the rest of the VRGC throw a great shoot, good food, entertainment, targets, etc. One of my favorite shoots of the year is the Uintah Basin June shoot. Now it looks like they will do that same type of festivities for the Western Grand as well. If you can make it, I strongly suggest you do.

This just happens to be a Mr. Bill Martins home club, if the name sounds familar it's the same Bill Martin and his wife who are keeping the Grand American (ATA) from dying a slow painfull death ... I'm not sure if he owns the club in Vernal or not but he promotes it alot and sponsors many activity's with his generousity as he does many other clubs and events ... With the people who are involved in this club it can't help but be a first class operation ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

I have the Vernal Disease shoot there once and you are hooked. A great shooting place but the social life after shooting is like no other club I ever shot at. Sean and Stacy run the club and the Matrin's host the best food and entertainment for trap shooters setting a new standard of feeling welcome and happy.
