ATA website has it listed under Ill, the mailing adress listed on the ATA site is:

2 miles west of Mississippi River on US 24
    QUINCY IL, IL 62301

2 miles west of the river sounds like Missouri to me.

The map that the ATA has is of Quincy Mass.

GPS won't help without a decent street address as it is listed as "Highway 24"

It's little wonder you're confused. The Quincy Gun Club (QGC) is a peculiar situation.

The QGC is an "Illinois" club located just across the border into Missouri. The directions are good. From Quincy, Illinois you cross the river on U.S. 24 heading west into Missouri. The club is a couple of miles west of the bridge. It sits on the north side of route 24 and immediately adjacent to it.

There are five combination fields. Any shooter will immediately recognize the property as a trap and skeet gun club.

    Illinois is like that.

The Downer's Grove club is in Morris.

The St. Charles club is in Elburn.

The Aurora club is in Waterman.

The Maywood club is in Elmhurst.

The Quincy club is in another state.

    Makes sense. Right?

    McHenry isn't in McHenry (Johnsburg)

    Frankfort isn't in Frankfort (Mokena)

    Naperville is still in Naperville!

Sure they have to move but there is no excuse for not providing "good" info to the ATA.

Lots of clubs list PO boxes as their address or the mailing address of the club secretary. In today's day and age, info should be easier to obtain

Thanks for the help on finding the club in Quincy

The map for QGC on shootata.com has now been corrected.
