    Hello from Denver,

To my fellow trapshooters. I thought that you would enjoy this video that was sent to me regarding Obamas' tax the rich mantra.

This explains what a wonderful idea it is, how it will help the country (not!!!), and where it will get us too and where it leaves us when they are all done.

Now the numbers might not be spot on, but you will get the idea. We cannot get there from here!

As always, mash on the link above and be ready for the facts!

A lot of pissed of milionaire's that offset the extra by raising prices in the companies that they own so once again the real tax payers take the hit right in the already empty pocket book.

These numbers are amazing. However, I believe this is what's known as a classic Straw Man Argument. Don't take this to mean I believe we should tax the rich.

In any analysis, we need to start taking Social Security out of the equation. It has been, and continues for the time being, to be self-funded. Approximately the amount going out is the amount of tax being paid each year. It has no current effect on the deficit, or federal debt right now. So take out about $750 billion from the current budget in any discussion.

How has literally all the growth in wealth in this nation gone to the top percent of the country? If trickle down is real, shouldn't the middle class also have an increase in wealth? Where is that?

Trappy, you're young, go out and get your education, then start your own business, that is the best way to get out of the middle class, but if you're not good at it it can also put you into poverty

It royally torques my ass that the gummit wants to take money away from people who have made the decision, to lay it out on the line, and then when they do good it their business, take the money and give it to the people who were happy to sit on their asses on the sideline

To answer the question, NO Where!

Stop the spending! Shrink the "size and scope" of the Government!

I've never been "hired" or "employed" by a "poor" person!

To answer the question EVERYWHERE!!!!! In fact if the top tax bracket was paying anywhere near there what they are supposed to pay already we would all not be having this conversation. They hide it, write it down, lie cheat and steal there way to paying as little tax as possible. The right thing to do is create another higher tax bracket, and increase the taxable rate on the newly created bracket and the current top bracket.......and quite frankly of the "rich" don't like it MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is simple, tax and blame the rich, "Get Elected" by those who don't pay taxes or get back more than they paid in for being a "baby machine"....

Dam I hope they don't tax the rich too much. I'm hoping the rich get to keep enough of their money so that one of em goes out and buys a new motorhome this year. Why? So in 6 or 7 years when hopefully I'm retired I can buy it from them, when they decide to upgrade. I want to be able to hit a few shoots, and join the motorhome crowd.

I like the rich because I buy their used stuff. I can't afford the new price, and can't afford to take the depreciation hit. They can so it works out for both of us.

nowhere: Their no fools. They paid people to shelter and keep down their exposure so they pay as little as possible. Don't blame them. Let's tighten down our goverment and save there. Leave the hard working people, in all classes, out of it. Dave T.

    Social Security is not self-funded.

Obama said that if the bill wasn't passed to fund the government, that Social Security checks would have to stop going out.

If SS is self-funded, there would be enough money that the checks would go out independently of the spending bill. This means Social Security is only a couple of weeks or so away from going belly up.

Obama should have kept his mouth shut. He showed us that the emperor has no clothes. Fortunately for him few people understood what he was really saying.

    Brian,

By saying SS is self-funded, I didn't mean not comingled. SS should be separated, finally, into it's own fund source and use. I believe that was what was originally intended.

As posted before, the best tax plan is a flat tax. When everyone has a stake in the game then everyone pays attention to whats going on.

Tax medicaid benefits as well and drug test everyone of the recipients before the first check is cut. Once you get your first medicaid check you get no more for having another ten kids. Leaches on this society feel entitled to eveyrone elses money. Look no further than Trappy. He is a product of todays education system that teaches and preaches it. The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other peoples money. And we are about there. The very people that work their asses off and gamble with their life savings to start a business are now to be punished by the socialists. Entitlement is the word of the day in public schools. Even the public sector unions follow the entitlement approach.

Trappy, have you been baking your brain in drugs? Half of the country pays no taxes at all.

There's your trickle down. How about you stay home for the rest of your life and have Mom and Dad support you. Not to mention a free cellphone and cable TV and internet.

Sucks to be a taxpayer instead of a tas taker.
