My first trapshooting was a the Lone Oak Gun Club near St. Paul, MN. A "friend" took me out to shoot about 4 boxes. He provided a heavy duck load. It wasn't all that much fun. I had bruises from my neck to my right elbow. It was easily 15 years before I tried it again. With proper ammo it is much more fun.

The now long gone Novato Trap Club, Novato, CA in 1982. I sure miss that club! We closed it in May of 1996.

At the home of Dale & Bonnie Prochnow. They were kind enough to introduce me to the sport on their home trap & skeet ground.

In the field behind my childhood home. We had a 55 gal. drum cut in half to sit behind and an old western spring trap, you had to yell pull! so the trapper could hear you, it wasn`t the safest set up but nobody got shot.

What little bit I learned was at the old Downer's Grove Sportsman's Club when it was still in Downer's Grove, Il. Now it's in Morris Il. and I'm still trying to learn...

I first shot registered trap at the Springfield Gun Club in Ohio. Well, at least I got my first instruction - still need it. Started in 1984.

Prince George's Trap and Skeet club, in Glenn Dale, Maryland. Started in April 2006, and was introduced to the sport by John Kirksey, the 2006 Maryland State Singles Champ.

I've been loving trap since the very first day that I shot it.

At my mentors farm. All the trap clubs that I shot at as a kid have been long gone including where I first registered. Stopped by where my favorite was tonite and walked a mile on memory lane!

Boyfriend took me out into the field and hand threw the targets. The ones I didn't hit, I had to go out and find to be reused. I learned to smash them real quick!

I learned to shoot trap at the Carlisle Fish and Game Club in Carlisle, Pa. I'm still learning how to hit the targets. CF&G throws the best targets in south central Pa., just ask any trapshooter. We have 5 traps, skeet, 5-stand, and one of the very toughest sporting clays courses in the state. Check it out at www.carlislefishandgame.org. You'll be glad you did...
