While this forum has always been a pretty free atmosphere to discuss a lot of things other than shooting clay targets, some have decided it has become a place to "blog" about stupid s**t. Remember this is a forum, not a blog spot.

I'm agreeing on that, I hate Facebook and hate to see this place turn into it.

SS maybe they could put another category on here for non shooting non trap related non gun related social networking? And before I get flamed I'm not talking about threads like PBB or any other trapshooters health problems.

So where will a good, self respecting mouse go to be heard?

    SBE,

Yes, I agree with you about those kind of threads. Those are very far from being what I'd call "stupid s**t". I should have quantified my post a little clearer but y'all understood what I was trying to say.

It's simple, the owner of this site can just make a rule that SS must approve every thread before it's posted. Problem solved- now SS won't be forced to read "stupid s**t" threads.

speaking of "stupid s**t" threads, doesn't this one qualify?- after all it's a "stupid s**t" thread about "stupid sh**t" threads. If that doesn't make it a "stupid s**t" thread then nothing can be a "stupid s**t" thread. Another option would be for SS to stop reading "stupid s**t" threads other than his own "stupid s**t" threads. Just a "stupid s**t" suggestion from a "stupid s**t" who likes to decide for himself what "stupid s**t" threads to read.

Sometimes it really depends how you state something.

If I were to tell my Wife, she had a face that made time stand still, I'm sure she would be appreciative. But if I would tell her she has a face that would break a clock...all hell would break loose.

    Agreed?

So, do I use 7 1/2's or 8's for the mouse in my grill?

SS, are you trying to tell us that you never wrote nor responded to threads that fall in this category? History of threads will answer that. Jackie B.

Here's an idea; skip the threads that do not interest you.

See what you did Setterman?? You are somehow forcing these people to open your threads. I don't know how you're doing it but I sure hope you're happy.

    Geeze, what a Troll.

I actually found Setterman's "mouse in the grill" thread to be very funny and a lot like this forum used to be. We use to have a lot of fun here!

The threads I'm referring to come from just a very few posters and always seem to be a hypothetical, something happened to the neighbor, the fence is knocked over and my dog is pregnant, type of threads. They really have no basis here and are of a "blogging" nature. There is a big difference between discussing things on a forum and blogging. If I have to point it out, then you simply wouldn't understand.
