wheel weights

    Has any one wieghed the finished product to find out how much shrinkage there is in say 100# of wheel weights? Clips,junk,etc.

    Sasquach,The yield would depend on how many heavier 4oz. weights as compared to 1/2 oz. weights since you would be getting more yield with the 4 oz. weights and less waste(metal clips). Mike

    i trade wheel weights for shot. 1 five gallon bucket for two bags of shot to me,no sorting,removing what is bad or good. with fuel prices up i have this cost as well, not to mention the time invested picking them up,so if i have to sort and clean by removing trash and etc. i would rater just pay cash per bag of shot.

    jim stewart of bettershotmaker.com told me want the junk loss was but i cant remember. e-mail or call him and he can give you a correct average.

    The small batch that I did not too long ago was right around 16%. Josh
