    What

I'm no connoisseur and I know little about Scotch Whiskey. I'd like to get a gift for a shooting friend and I know he likes that kind of adult beverage. What could I buy for him?

Mine is Glenrothes. It is a short fat bottle and has a tag on it with the date bottled. You can find it anywhere from 15 -25 years old. Nothing better in my opinion and I have drank some of the best. I paid $70 last time but it was only 16 years old.

If you want a wonderful scotch for a great price, Famous grouse is very hard to beat. It is what I drink as a regular

Cubancigar . . . . . Bump up for The Famous Grouse, say $24 in Michigan. Go a bit better, The Black Grouse, $29. Want to celebrate get the The Black Grouse Reserve at $37.

Glenfiddich or famous Grouse, is the most I care to spend for a everyday drop.

I'll drink Dewars on heavy rocks.

I find better bargains with bourbon.

My taste outperforms my earnings, so I try not to even sample to many high end single barrels.
