    so far 23 gr of universal clays sp12 wad in a STS whats yours ??

    Fed Paper, fed 209 or CCIm, slightly over 1 1/4 oz copper plated 6's or 5's, 27.6 grns 7625= fast & smooth

    STS hull,fiocchi primer,27 grains Long Shot,sp 12 wad,1 1/4 #6 west coast mag.
    My standard Annie load from 34 to 55 yard line. More powder can be added if you can take more recoil.

    Thats a good load Oldtimer1, One better Rio Hull, Rio Primer, 34.4 Grs Longshot 9,200psi 1440Fps WAA12F114 wad,w 1 1/4 oz #6s or a Windjammer wad.

    Low pressures too for 1440 fps 1 1/4 oz load

    34.4 grains of longshot?? You are a stud to take a steady diete of that stomper. 28 gr is as much as I & anyone I know wants much of for very long. I don't doubt you but I've never been able to keep my patterns with lead shot from blowing apart at that speed. Even with buffer.

    If you want a real strecher from the book...33 Gr. Longshot..Gun Club Case. Win 209 primer..1 1/4 oz copper clad #6's..Lage Uniwad....1440 FPS at the muzzle....Kicks you almost as hard as it hits targets..Great 60 Yd.+ load.
    Juat a few a night are about all I can handle!

    FLIP nope very versatile, and #6s do not blow patterns at 1500fps either

    STS hull, 1-1/4 6s, 33 grains HS6 powder (old Win 540), Win primer, WAA12F114 wad. Use it for anything past 40-45 yards.

    32 grains of AL7, Alcan Air Wedge 3/8 combo wad, Hodgdon number 9 primer, Federal shot cup.

    Ajax, I shot a lot of Alcan stuff in the 50's & 60's. Good stuff!

    Ajax - I do, particularly when Homer Clark had Alcan.. Windjammer, that was my load for 1 1/4 pigeon loads when reloads were acceptable along with AA as a replacement for once fired Federal.

    I also used that 7625 load with 1 1/8 9s for International skeet.

    We shot games Thursday night and a guy shooting with me said my wad was coming apart, because there were three pieces. If you can find some of the old Butler wads, they come out like confetti. It drives some people crazy! LOL

    federal gold medal, 34gr longshot, f114, 1.25oz of hard 5-7.5 mix best pheasant medicine i have ever loaded for birds in three states i have shot em in..i dont think they kick in either the vinci or the m2, have shot two cases or more a year for since 2002.
