Does anyone know who has some WOLF primers in stock? Everyone seems to be out of them everywhere. I wonder if being made in Russia has anything to do with their sudden disappearance off everyone's shelves? .....Rick

They were for sale @ Cardinal for $105/5k---they got scarfed up instantly, I bought 10k of Chedites for $110.00---still trying to get some reliable info on them. Saved enough on components from A.J. to pay the motel bill+.

Dollar down, price of imports up. Importer probably decided they no longer make economic sense at current exchange rate. Sad, but expect the same with Fiocchis, Nobels, Cheddites, etc.

I've dealt with Recob's before, and they ARE nice folks, but they are not carrying WOLF's any more and neither are Gamaliel's. ......Rick

If the relations get worse between the U.S. and Russia(which seems very probable) I wouldn't count on them being easy to get for very long.

The deal is this..... The primer was introduced to the US market a few months back. The cost was about $74/5000 wholesale. THe initial stock was glommed up so fast that they realized they were well below the current threshold of what the market woukd bear. Price went up to $92 wholesale and the Wolf primers are now comparible with Cheddites and Rio's as far as price.

Hmmmmm.....glad I bought 50,000 of them when I did! My primer of choice for all but HEAVY 1 1/8 oz loads. I use Fed209s for those!

I just bought 20K for $90 /5K, I find they work just as well as the Fiocchi's I've been using. Those should last me about a year.

The question was: who has them NOW? Our club split 50,000 of them from Recob and we're looking for more.

Are the Wolfs ike Rios and DO NOT enlarge your primer pockets???????????
I wouldn't buy Fiocchis for that reason.

No issues here Andy... I have exchanged Wolfs and Winchesters back and forth with no issues in AA hulls.

I just want to buy more Wolfs, even if I had to pay $15 or $20 more for a case of 5,000.

Sent an email to Recob's and they said they're expecting another shipment in mid October. Hopefully the price hasn't gone up too much--they were $90.99 for 5000
    before hazmat and shipping.
