I have a Crown Grade and about 2 years ago had Ernest Marlette reblue the receiver.

The Gold inlays are a little dull now (not worn down) and I want to shine them up but don't want to damage or wear down the great bluing job Ernest did or dull the inlay engraving.

Is there a product or proceedure out there that is safe to use

    Thanks

Its not gold if it needs to be shined

They should have actually appeared brighter after bluing

Try a tooth brush and tooth paste.
