1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

There is a used beretta combo on this site for sale, looks like its in decent shape and would be a good way to get into a combo for around $2500.

Definantly 682/687 all the way...the 682 combo for $2500 is great as you could sell off the single if you really didn't want it and then be under 2k

Whatever one you buy, make sure it fits correctly or you will end up spending more to make it fit than you originally intended. Try to find a shooter at your club who will let you mount their gun and see if it feels right. Or go to a reputable dealer and do the same. Shooting it first is always preferred.

If you do try someone's gun, make sure he didn't alter it from it's original configuration. It may fit you. If you buy the same model new, you may have to get some stock work done to duplicate the fit.

I have seen a number of Beretta 682s in which the barrels do not shoot to the same point (not properly regulated). Be aware.

I also have experience with a Beretta not shooting to the same point. Just bought a Beretta SV10 Prevail 1 Trap a few weeks ago. Patterned it and the lower barrel is shooting well below POA from a rest - probably 90-95 of pattern is below POA. Top barrel was as expected (around 60/40). I sent it back to Beretta, and they claim it patterns just fine. Not happy. Should have kept looking for a Browning 725 Trap.
