The list of threads are in blue lettering. After I click on a thread to read it, the lettering then turns red until someone responds with an additional comment, after which the lettering returns to blue, indicating that a new response has been added.

This morning, I notice all threads that I read late yesterday still have red lettering even though additional responses have been added. I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but being extra simple, I'm stumped. Any help here?

Thank you, David. It's nice to know, for once, I wasn't the cause of the problem. LOL

What I did was the links to a thread normally look like this:

    http://www.trapshooters.com/cfpages/sthread.cfm?threadid=148737&Messages=8

I had removed the &Messages=xx where xx is the number of posts of the thread thinking it was just extra coding that wasnt needed. When I removed it the thread link always stayed the same and your/mine browsers interpreted it as a link that we already visited. By putting back the number of messages, when a new one is added the link looks brand new to our browsers and changes the color back to an unvisited link.

By the way you can change the colors that links are displayed as in your browser. In Internet Explorer its Tools | Internet Options | Under Appearance | Colors.

I can't enter a new thread. All I get is an error message, when trying to view it. Ed

hmb try clearing out your cache/temp internet files. The changes I made should not have effected anything about refreshing.
