I'm not a big dog, but I know I can not shoot a stock that's too long.

I normally shoot 14.25"~14.5" LOP, but I can shoot as short as 13.75" if that's what I have that day, but anything over 14.75" I'll lost contact with my gun.

Please forgive my ignorance but, what is the correlation between the
    LOP and choke constriction?

What's better to run the 100 yrd dash, A pair of running shoes a size too big or a size too small? I guess it depends on which way the wind is blowing?

I think you need to get into the "ZEN" of your gun and let it tell you how long your stock should be.......or not...

Neither is better. A tad short is better than a tad long, prevents pounding on flexed muscles. That makes for a loooong day.
