1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    What

    A friend has a 98%, Beretta Silver Pigeon II, in a Beretta hard case with all the choke tubes, wrench, papers -- all. What's a fair price ?

    How old is it?

    What's its condition?

    How many shells has been shot through it?

    Before you can get a true estimate as to its worth, you should have this information available.

    I suggest you check out the used guns at http://www.joeletchenguns.com/ for a rough idea as to what they are going for in the market. Also do a search here on TS.COM for previous items for sale.

    A few of questions here;

    1) Top single or unsingle barrel?

    2) 30" or 32" O/U's?

    3) Standard or upgraded EELL wood?

    4) has there been any mods to the stock?

    All of these will have an effect on the value of said gun.

    Latest Blue Book for 687 Trap Combo, 98%, is $3150-$3350, depending on whether it is a top single or unsingle. My guess was $3000 before I looked it up. Again it is worth what a seller and a buyer agree on. New one on Etchens website is $4,200. Mark

    Is it just a Silver Pigeon combo or is the JOEL ETCHENS TRAP SPECIAL combo there is a huge difference in the 2 Joel has much nicer wood on his special guns and it will be marked so on the underside of the reciever.

    It is in 98-99% shape, has a top single. Marked on the bottom of the receiver is "Silver Pigeon II". The wood is nice but not EELL grade. Barrels are 32" - 34". No mods to barrels or stock.

    Realistic value is $2800-$3000. Nice guns and nice shooters and will last a person a lifetime.
