1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have a friend that has a Ithaca 4 E looks to be in good shooting condition but choke tubes have been put in.It is the older kind where they bulge the barrel on the end.

Monty-is it a Flues or a Knick model. Assuming it's a Knick model and in just good shooting condition--not a minty collectors piece, I'll take a stab at value. It's all subjective, but WITHOUT THE TUBES, it could bring $1000 to $1500 depending on the actual condition. With added chokes--probably Win-chokes--ala Stan Baker--I'd knock $500 off either end. So--let's have a look at some pix and I can refine my answer.

I'm no attorney, but I'm pretty sure adding those choke tubes constitutes a felony.

I recall a 4E back in Ohio that had a Cutts on it. It floated around
with a $75 price tag. Knick model, good looking gun, except for the bbl.
I guess this was in the 50-60s

It has Stan Baker choke tubes Serial is 402075 .I don't know the knick. It has black wedgein the front forend.Kinda nice wood.I shot it today and the gun pops open when you shoot it,but the lever is not to the center.I assume the lever spring is weak.

That $75. 4E sounds like that '63 split window corvette that two teen lovers died in and no one could get the odor out of the fiberglas. If you find it I'll give you $100. for it.

Any no. 400,000 and above is a Knicks. I bought a Knicks a couple of years ago with Briley thin walls that was "Minty" for 1500 shipped with a nice hard case. Bill
