I would guess that nothing will replace it.....Kreighoff's done with that idea.

I heard that a remake of the Space Gun will take its place. It will be called the K-L gun, the "Krieghoff Luna". I only heard that, not sure if it's true.

I heard an unverified rumor that it will return with a higher rib to compete with the other trap models with elevated ribs after the existing inventory of new KX-5s is depleted.

I had heard that the KX5 became too expensive to maufacture, given the features it offered - at the price they were selling for.

Since I do not expect Krieghoff to offer a bargain-basement trap gun, my "guess" would be the same as others have alluded to...........a high-ribbed, single barrel to compete with the new Perazzi TMX9.

Once Pelosi and Holder get through it'll be a sling shot.....and by the way you'll need a permit for that.

My understanding, (I heard from a skeet shooter) that you won't be able to purchase it unless you speak fluent German. R

Not enough KX-5s were blowing up for publicity on here...so probably something with much lighter barrels, especially around the chamber.
