I think Remington stopped making Parkers in 1942 but I could be mistaken.

Although they were no longer produced, many shooters shot the Parkers well into the '70s.

    Thanks Ed.

I am trying to get a handle on what could be considered the classic trap guns made in America in the 1940's.

Lou- If your are looking for the most popular classic gun from that time, it would be the M-12.

A much more difficult question would be what was the classic doubles gun 75 years ago?

1940s? Before or after we got into WWII? Many of the classic USA trapguns never came back into production after WWII.

I am curious about the classic trap guns made in the USA in the 1940's after we got into WWII.

Most likely they would have been made 1946 to 1950, when I think the 870 came out.

    Thanks.
