While we seem to be on the subject of distractions on the line...I was just wondering what everyone thinks about the trap guns that eject the spent shells the furthest. At one shoot I was shooting with a guy who had a Silver Seitz that ejected those babies at least 20 ft.!!! I mean it was impressive !! I'm sure the shooter had to be careful with the trajectory because with one screw up he could put an eye out !!! Anybody else have any experience with these rockets???.........Uncle Sam, Pa.

I've owned almost all the trap guns on the market, and my vote goes to the Blaser hands down. If your buddys Seitz went 20ft, a Blaser could go 40 Ft.......... I could shoot my Blaser on the 16 and eject empties into my rig in the parking lot................ :) l.g.

Courteous shooters don't let the empty hulls hit the ground. Club management has to pick them up.

Nothing even comes remotely close to an SX-1.

An out of time Winchester Model 50 hands down. Seriously the spring in the stock should be adjusted to get the gun back in time before damage to the receiver occurs.

Ljutic ejection, controlled by cutting a couple of loops off the spring. Easy fix.

An SX-1; hands down. If I shot on Station 1; this gun would throw them over by Station 3. I had Stu Wright weld a "nub" on the ejection port. It helped but it still throws them close to the station next to me. And this is with 1 oz. loads! My Model 50 is almost as bad. Ed

I had a TMX that was good for 15 yards. After several shoots the ejector went along with the empty shell. My SX-1's never went more than a few yards.

My money is on the Mod. 50. I had one and it would throw fed papers fron post 3 right past post 5 on the level Best auto ever built. Larry Evans

I'm also with the SX-1. Usually described it as "into the next zip code!".....Bob Dodd

My 90T can hit the puller with a hull right in the forehead from the 27 if I'm not carefull on station three.

If you were on post 1 and shooting a SX-1 and if you were turned just right you would easily just about knock the guy on post 5. Nothing else comes close.
