White lithium grease or plumber's grease which is silicone. Do not use the plumbers' grease on the hinge pin too thick.

Something is better than nothing. I tend to shy away from anti-seize because of the god awful mess it leaves behind. I've used Rotella straight off the dipstick of a diesel pickup in the parking lot too.

CMD grease is absolutely the best, seals the gases out of threads and lubricates
as well, choke tube will never stick in Bbl. Add to tube sides and threads and then install the tube, been using it for years

I use regular gun oil and very little of it, of course I clean my gun quite often compared the many others.

In my opinion if you have to ask that question you aren't taking your tubes out often enough. Just take them out twice a year, clean them and oil or grease them down with what ever makes your wallet go pitter-patter. If you shoot in the rain do it immediately after as well as the gun.

Permatex anti-seize from an auto parts store. About $5.00 a tube. Which will last forever.
