I thought it was all orange but someone said orange dome with the black rim. I can't remember.

I am sure all orange have there place but I am not a fan.

There is nothing to lock onto.

I always feel I am shooting the streak.

    JMHO YMMV.

We couldn't get our shooters to agree between all orange and orange dome, so we went with New York style targets, where only the outer rim is black, and the rest of the top of the target is orange. That way everyone can be equally unhappy. :) Mark

I don't like all orange targets if the background is the sky. I lose them, especially if the lower background is trees, then sky. If only trees, then I see them very well, but, sadly, not all traps have the green tree background.

The Dollar is going to try the New York style of targets and I hope that I can see them on the traps where one shoots mostly against the sky background. Time will tell.

Ae the dollar NY style will be a plus on all the banks except # 3 on the gun side and the far right on the golf side. Its my opinion

All orange targets against an overcast sky are awful. They disappear.

    Not a fan.

Agreed. Try them against a cornfield.

Against a clear sky orange dones work well and I prefer them in that case. With any background at all organge "domes" are extremly hard to see!

Take a look at White Flyers web site and you will see the difference between a orange dome and a NY style.

In a mostly sky background more black is better. Contrast is the name of the game.
