With the age of computers and the information highway, what takes so long to get a reduction. I have had my 1000 targets since my last earned yardage since August 30th. That was 7 weeks ago, and I have 700 more targets since August 30th . When you get a punch it is immediate, why can't a reduction review be immediate after the 1000 targets? If not at least allow the extra 700 targets be counted toward the next reduction.
I would like to hear some feedback about this topic

Have you shot your singles? No singles = no review! Don't ask me why, it's an ATA rule.

A punch is immediate at a shoot. A review is just that, an official ATA review of your shooting history that takes time. Be patient, all good things happen to those who wait.

There is contact information on the ATA web site.

Why not contact the individual in charge of the process with your question?

You should contact them, I have had regular 1000 reviews, twice last shooting year.

Could also depend on the circumstances of your last punch. Certain shoots depending on the number of competitors and score achieved my have you marked for a couple of years of no reductions.

I would look at the details on the shooter information website. You might find out that some of your scores are missing or entered wrong.

It's interesting again how some of us take pride in punches, and strive to keep the earned yardage, while others see them as a penalty and look to move up again as soon as possible.

    Pocatello,

They think that there's still money in shooting.

You can go to the ATA website yourself and see exactly when the computer last evaluated your shooting. BTW, it is automatically done by a computer, not a human.

Go to the shooter information center, enter your ATA number and then your password, click on your name thewn click on "lifetime" and then on "printer friendly" link at the top. That will bring up a complete spreadsheet that shows when you were reviewed last. If the computer determines that you are within your skillset, you won't hear anything from the ATA about a reduction.

Lets see you want feed back I will provide feedback just don't get upset if it isn't what you are expect. You want answers you don't however provide information. You do not tell anyone here your name. So we can't look up your score. You do not tell us what state you live in. You do not give us your average in handicap for the 1000 targets after your last review.

Now I am curious how can anyone here spot what might be the reason that you have not received a review with out basic information? Information about your shooting history for the last 1000 targets would aid those that understand the process to assist you. From the look of some of the answers you are getting there are those that have no understanding of the process or they are trolling you.

So with that being said how would like any of us to help you? Your request is akin to asking to by a new suit in a letter. Without the benefit of the sales person knowing you size!!!!! Give us something to work with.

griffonexpress I would love to try to help but what ever this is doesn't compute State Trap Assn 25.0 100 96 0.5 100 91 4644.

All that is needed is a name and a state if that information is to personal you are going to have to wait for the ATA
