I like a full choke from 16 to 27 yards.
I use a mod and Full for doubles.

.020 for singles and .020/.031 for 1st/2nd shot doubles.

In a clinic with Leo, after shooting some targets under observation, he commented on each person's choke. When he got to me, he said, "And you've got plenty. Full?" He was a bit surprised by how open I was shooting, but it just goes to show you, if it throws a great pattern and you're in the center, they'll inkball.

I also use .031 in my unsingle from 27 for reference.

All are fixed chokes (factory) from a perazzi MX2000.

If you can vaporize targets with your current choke, why go tighter? I use a .15 LM Briley thin wall in my Infinity & when I hit them no smoke--they just disappear. Don't look @ averages--each gun is unique-- if y your choke & shell can make the target vanish---that's all that's counts

With my ProBore barrel (measures .740/.738) I use a Carlson EF, with a .695" measurement. The F that came with the gun measures .700" but my scores are higher with the Carlson. I have not made 25 yet but 22 to 24 and the hits are hard.

Why does it matter as long as they break? The score sheet doesn't care.
Trapshooters telling each other what choke they use is like guys in a bar talking about their sexual prowness.
    Anyway..

When I was shooting 1-1/8oz at 1150 I shot M and IM with good results.
Now that I have gone to 1oz at 1290 I find I get better results with a LM.

White Flyers break into lots of pieces, bios smoke.
The pattern board told me what to do.
(all in a Guerini with Guerini chokes)
