I'm looking for a release trigger for my old style BT: I know nothing about them and want to know what qualities are important; which ones are good or should be avoided, and what can I expect to pay? Thanks for your help, J.Terre

Contact Phillip Crenwelge at 210-313-5988. He charges $250 + postage and does great work. Just got my second BT99 release back from him and both work great. Ray

You can't go wrong with either Phillips or Doug Hubbart. Both great guys to work with & do excellent release triggers.

Thanks for the help so far: do I send these guys my whole gun, just the reciever, or do I have my local smith (who is VERY good I think) install the release parts? Is there any adjusting or set-up required? Do the guys recommended have websites or other contact info. I've seen the Allems name a lot, are they good? J.Terre

Just need the receiver, it will come back to you with a very nice release trigger installed, just put the stock & barrel back on.......can be changed at a later date for a nominal charge if you don't like the release.

You just send the receiver to Phillip, but I would call or e-mail him first. He is really busy. I think he is at the spring grand in Arz.

I had Doug Hubbard install one in my BT99 plus
    Super quick turn around.
I also have a spears release for a older style bt for $150.
    It has all the parts.
It WILL NOT FIT IN MY NEWER BT. It needs to be installed by a good gunsmith.
If interested send me a PM

Great work and fast turn around time. Did my Beretta and I couldn't be happier with the trigger and the deal in general.
