What % of the pattern is good for 34 yds?

    What % of the pattern is good for 34 yds? What percent for 40yds?

    I get over 90% of shot from my reloads in a 30" pattern at 33 yards. And over 80% at 42 yards. Most people will not hit a target at 40 yards (27 yard line shot). That's why I test at 42 yards.

    I believe the information provided at the link above. You need a 75% or better pattern at the distance you break the target.

    The sweet spot for Pattern Efficiency vs. score is 85% at target distance. You may have to work hard to get 85% at 40 yards. If you can't hit 85%, than as tight as you can get.
