What; is your opinion of a 712 raptor?

    thats better than the 1100.00 I was quoted new when they came out. I was planning on getting the 20g for sporting, got hooked on trap more. I just liked it and what it came with.

    Shooting Jack, if it's as new then IMO that would be a dang good price. I haven't seen one yet on any of the auction sites for less than $700.

    I had the same gun. Bought it for sporting clays. I didn't keep it
    to long because I felt it kicked to hard. I went to a Beretta 390.
    Because it's gas operated, it has alot less felt recoil.

    I had one for about a month, could not get it to shoot as straight as I needed it to..five shooters, and the dang thing shot high and left for all of us...sold it for the same money as I paid for it..lb

    I went back to the dealer to look at the Raptor I traded in. I is
    not gas operated. It has the rotating bolt like a Benelli. Has the
    weathercoat finish and extended choke tubes. If the one your looking
    at is gas operated it must be a older model.
