In some shooting related items, I found a brass tube that looked like a woman's lipstick case.

It has a small, blue fake stone on top of the case, and the cover pulls off just like a tube of lipstick.

You can even turn the bottom of it, and the insides will twist up and out.

But, instead of lipstick, it is a brass-bristled brush, about 1 1/2 inches long!

It appears older due to the design.

Does anyone know what it is used for?

Sorry, I don't have any pictures.

    Danny

It's a suede brush. Makes your suede shoes look like new.

Just for the reason it may be what you mention, I did not smell it! ( But it crossed my mind, Tron)

    Wayneo,

That is very possible........could be used for suede coats or shoes, I guess.

If it had been soft bristles, I was thinking maybe a camera lens cleaning brush?

    Thanks for the ideas

Well you made me do it. This is a horse hair lens cleaning brush from the early 60's.

Yeah, mine looks almost identical, but it has brass bristles, and a small, blue, glass stone on the top of the outer cover.

    Thanks Wayne

Putting on rouge or other cosmetics with a brass bristled brush would take a VERY tough woman

    Any other ideas?

It's to remove the wax out of your wife's ears when you tell her of your new MX2000 and she says,"I didn't even hear that."
