Lets have some fun at my expense. I have a Remington 870 that is from the mid 60's It has had a reblue buut that is not the interisting part. I found some, nice Anton wood in the late 90's with a long forend (comp) . We don't see many of those around VA. I bought it to go with a old 34ā€¯Remington trap barrel I had shot some good scores with. What is it worth? Is it worth more by the piece or as a whole? I have only seen 2 of these barrles and owned them both. My dad took the liberty of selling one I had that I hunted with. I pitched such a bit--he gave me his. To him it was just a long barrel. Maybe he was right but to me it was like family. Here are some prety pictures to look at. Check them out and let me hear how many you guys have seen. Let me know what you think Jim

So, the gun is not original and is basically a parts gun. Not really collectable, just a shooter. I'll give you $300 for it. :) Mark

The only way you get a 870 w/ a Anton stock and a 34" barrel is as a parts gun. This is not a post to sell just for inforamtion only.Oh by the way I would buy yours for 325.00 Ha ha .Do you have many of either shooting at your club? Thanks Jim

There isnt going to be any collectors value for an 870 unless Bush owned it or something.

34 inch barrel is hard to come by

Anton stock ( although something is odd-- no checkering?) is an upgrade and that LOP adjustment isnt a detractor

If it fits- ( no adjustable comb) it would be worth hmmmmmm $727.77

    Regards from Iowa
