Guess that's better than being X rated.

"what is a "R" coded shooter just got on a.t.a. site and found that I"m a "R" coded shooter"

    JB the rulebook says

“R” coded shooter, system will not allow computer reduction"

It means you will not get a reduction automatically it must be approved by your delegate

"There are also codes inserted into a shooter’s record that will prevent
a yardage reduction from being granted without written direction from
the State Delegate. This code indicates that a shooter has proven his
ability. A very small minority of active shooters have restrictive codes
in their record. Most codes are removed at target year end and are
inserted back in the shooter’s record at the discretion of the State ATA
    Delegate or Central Handicap Committeeman."

At least that is what is in the rulebook those are quote I would worry about it and you can always ask your ATA delegate about it.

I think it means restricted to your current yardage meaning you wont get a reduction unless you lose an arm or something like that. Somebody might have spilled the beans on your shooting ability to the ata. Kirk

    Shawn,

The "H" code is imposed after earning 1-1/2 yards. It is in effect for two years, but can be removed prior to that time.

You should have been told when and why. That's policy.
