What happened to Wolf 209 primers?

    Anybody know what happened to the Wolf 209 primers? Bought a gazillion of them about 5 years ago and can't seem to find them anymore.

    What are they similar too? Never seen reloading for them.

    Wow, you are right. All the places I usually shop online (including Graf's) don't carry them any more. I used to buy nothing but Wolf's. Great primers. I believe they were made in Russia. It could be that we can't get them any more due to the love for Obammy by the Ruuskies.

    Friend of mine bought 50,000 not too long ago. I will find out where he got them

    I see they're still making their other primers as well as their ammo....but the 209's seem to be gone. The first variant was called PMC, then they changed their name to Wolf. They were ultra reliable, consistent, and cheap

    Here's the scoop...a lot of the Com Block ammunition and components is being held up at the ports for administrative reasons. The sole exception to this has been Tula ammunition.

    Wolf, Brown / Silver Bear, et al are stuck in the supply chain.

    You may draw your own conclusions.
