Anyone know what handgun the secret service packs? My father was impressed after watching something about the agency on TV. I think it may be a Sig from what info he remembered, if so would like the model and caliber. Thanks

They could tell ya, but then they'd have to kill ya.

I bet it varies from agent to agent.

Normal gun is a Sig 357. They also can carry FN-57, FN-P90. Whatever they carry they must qualify & do a tremendous amount of range time.

Catching Chrome is correct. P229, non-railed, DA/SA, .357sig. Look over on the Sig-Forum, lots of info. Wayne

They're working on a 4.6x30mm round that will penetrate personal body armor. They've given up on their UZIs and are packing MP-4s. They already have prototypes of an HK M7A1P in 4.6x30mm.
