What gun do you shoot for singles? Double or single barrel? What choke?

    I shoot a Remington 1100 with a 30" full choke barrel.

Blaser F3 super trap, Full choke, with a 1oz load. First time I ever shot a shotgun was a year ago. I have had the Blaser since March and really starting to get comfortable with the gun. My biggest problem right now is putting a full 100 event togther. Three times in a row I have shot a 48 on the front 50, and then dropped a 45 or less on the back half.

I finally settled on a Ljutic Pro 3 LTX (after 40 years of looking for the magical gun). Choke tubes of .020"singles and .035" HC. I raise the adjustable comb approx 1/4" for 27yd HC. Seldom shoot doubles but have a Citori XT with a PFS should I want to shoot them. The Citori XT has an excellent reputation for reliability and shooter satisfaction. This would be an excellent all around choice as nice XT's with chokes and adjustable comb can be found in the $2000 range. The Pro 3 is a bit more. Good luck, Marc

Bt-99 ar with IM midas grade browning choke. This is the 3rd bt that I have had and it is a sweetheart!! I recently had it properly fitted and am running 50's with consistency. I used to have trouble in poor light conditions, but with this gun that problem has all but disappeared. I credit this to the higher rib. Possibly the barrel was partially blocking my sight pic, or was getting heat distortion? Anyway I'm at the top of my game right now with it. And the shooting season is almost over??!

Winchester 101 unsingle, bought about 1 1/2 months ago. Still learning to shoot it. Did my first 100 target shoot last Sun. First 50, got 49 then dropped 8 on the last fifty. Lack of concentration on my part. Love the old gun.
